I am Mary Claytor, the lead teacher in the 3 day 3's program. I have been at St. Mark's since the Spring of 2009.

I studied History at Trinity College, University of Dublin in Ireland, where I also hold dual citizenship. I am certified in Early Childhood Development through Anne Arundel Community College. I have taken many seminars and courses over the years including Johns Hopkins Reading Readiness program.

I now live in Easton after relocating from Severna Park on the western shore in 2005. I have taught at private and Christian schools in that area since 1990, Pre-K and Kindergarten.

My husband, Ray, is retired from Engineering with Verizon. I have three grown children whom all have wonderful mates, I would be proud to call my own. Together they have blessed me with 12 beautiful grandchildren.

Besides spending time with my family, I love to read, garden and work on family genealogy.

My goal for the children is to instill in them a love of learning, to be happy coming to school, to value self-worth and to interact with others in a safe, stimulating environment.

I love my job!

I am Mrs. Colleen Costagliola (also known as Mrs. C), and I am the assistant teacher in Mrs. Claytor’s 3 year old class.

I am a certified teacher, and I graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education for kindergarten through 12th grade. I later earned my certification to teach secondary English. I earned my Master’s degree in Applied Technology in Education from Wilmington University. After 37 years in the classroom, I retired from teaching in a public high school where I taught English and Special Education to students in grades 9 – 12. I retired in 2019, and by the end of September, I was missing school . So, I applied to work at St. Mark’s Preschool . As a member of St. Mark’s Church, I was familiar with the preschool and knew that this would be the perfect retirement job for me. I started at St. Mark’s in October of 2019.

I am originally from Pennsylvania, but moved to Maryland when I was offered a teaching position after graduating from college. I am married to my husband Aniello (Neal) for 36 years and have 2 children, Timothy and Gabriella. Timothy is a software developer for GM in Georgia and Gabriella is a registered nurse at Tidal Health, PRMC in Salisbury.

I am looking forward to working with you and wish that everyone has a happy and healthy school year.
